variable speed control

i was just going through harbor freights catalog they have a variable speed controller for 15 bucks cheapest i found i dont see why this wouldnt work like the others

Ya 15 bucks is pretty cheep, you cant even get a fan dimmer at home depot for that cheep. They had a complete irrigation kit there for 20 bucks...drippers...tees...hoses. Love that place!
