Vaporizers? howto or where to

Ive got my mind set, im getting a vaporizer.

but the question remains which one? ive used a volcano before but honestly, could it really cost that much?

the deal is, does anyone know where i can find a howto/DIY manual to make my own using non ghetto and half assed materials or even pictures of a dis-asembled box style vaporizer?

i think you can make one out of a light bulb or seomthing..

well last time i checked the local head shop the volcano was going for 4-500

There's an awesome post here about making a volcano from the replacement parts kit and a Makita (?) brand heat gun. It costs like $200 or so total and works as good as the real thing. Looks a little gnarly, but what gives?
