UVC bulb in drying tent to deter mold?

I'm just wondering about an idea to put a UVC bulb in the drying tent and having it on a timer to cycle on and off as an extra measure to deter mold. I know that light degrades the weed, but if it only comes on for a short period of time, I'm not sure if it would make a difference as far as degradation goes. Has anyone already tried this? Thoughts?

Since UVC is the most energized form in the UV spectrum, and UV light degrades THC, I’m not so sure it’s a good idea. Also, if it’s only coming in for a short period how effective will it be on mold?

Yes, I see what you're saying. But, what about those sterilizer "wands" that you swipe over stuff? That's only a quick swipe and it supposedly kills any spores, viruses, bacteria, etc. I'm thinking that if I was to put the UVC bulbs on a timer that would come on for, say a minute inside the drying tent, would probably be a similar effect as a swipe of a UVC wand..... Or, maybe it might be an idea just to get a UVC wand and swipe it over the plants on a daily basis just as a precaution. Thoughts?

Not much point. Mold starts on the inside of the buds, where it is dark moist and has no air exchange. Any light wouldn't reach there. Thus has no effect.

Sterilizing the air is also pointless as the buds are filled with mold spores. Plant based medicines are allowed to have 100 viable mold spores per gram, according to the european pharmacopeia. Flower from a basement grow would have more than this. The mold spores are already present and having less influx from the air doesn't change that.
