Uv Lights used for reptiles

Was talking to a friend the other day and he said the best bet is to get those uv lights from pet stores and they also have those night lights awell and these are great for growing. Can anyone provide any input.

most of those lights at pet stores are heat lamps so becareful but they do make t5 lights for fish tanks witch work like floros but their higher wattage 55w most floro are 40w max.... might be a good idea to go to a hydro shop check out what they got get an idea go from their
