Using only exhaust fan for ventilation

Has anyone ever used just their exhaust fan only in a tent and used the negative pressure to bring air through the canopy and not have to use any extra fans inside doing the work and have no problems?

If you are in a low humidity area I think I would be ok.
If growing under hps you might get hot spots.

Yes. Active exhaust / passive intake is very common.



Ideally put the fan on a temp/speed controller. Only runs when needed.

I would still get an oscillating fan for air movement which will gurantee no hot spots, no pockets of stale overly humid air, a breeze to strengthen stems, and keep mold at bay.
