using cloning gell in water ..... help

my question is.. what if i were to put a tablespoon of some cloning gel in a gallon of water and water my plants that are in soil ...

will it help it grow faster by adding more roots???

or ..... shit hhaha

ive dug around the stem of plant that was in veg and added some gel all around it long time ago like 2 harvest ago anyways... the bottom of stem was getting really thick and turning color of a tree brance .....

so what would happen if i water with the gell??????
