Using 2 Inline Fans Question

If a grow system is using two inline fans, one for venting/cooling the hood, and the other to vent (with a carbon filter), wouldn't this kind of cancel out the whole point of using the carbon filter? I'm going to use a grow tent, and the air from the hood will be expelled into the grow room (unfiltered) while the second inline fan with the carbon filter expels purified air into the room...

Won't the room stink with this setup?

you draw air from outside(through flex) the tent to cool the light so it never touches an odor, recirculate the air in the tent thru the carbon scrubber if you are using co2 or exhaust it from the tent if not. or better yet it sounds like you could just connect the carbon scrubber to the light and that would solve your problem.
