Use of cfl thru grow

I'm a beginner and I need to know if I can do a grow from seed to flower strictly cfl. I hear lot if talk about h.p.s at flower. Read article by dr chronic saying cfl is fine just change light spectrum? Some one clarify I need to know what's right don't want first grow to b a flop.

Yeah youll be fine. 6500k for veg, and then swap your bulbs to 2700k for flower.
When you get some money to invest, then worry about the HID lights.

note, you can do the whole thing with one spectrum of bulb like i did the first time, used 5k's through the whole thing. yeild sucked balls, but they still grow.

Ok thanks but let me ask so that I'm sure if I use cfl thru while grow I threaten my yield ?or if do e right yield will b fine?

If you use CFL's through your entire grow A) your yield will be minimal and B) your buds will be popcorny. Not saying you can't do it, but a decent light, even a small HPS will make you alot happier.

If you just want some time under your belt to experiment do it all with CFL.
If you actually want a decent amount of return for your time, get a HID. Your cfl's will be fine for vegging and clones forever though. They need jack shit for actual light till you flip them bastards over to flower.
