Hey guys! Still slowly trying to assemble a light system for flow phase. Been picking up old lamps for the bulb sockets for my cfls as one can never have enough light! Anyways I have what I think is a thermally protected fixture that houses a MAX 250w IR. It is essentially a socket for bulb, surrounded by vented sheet metal, +/- power cords and a ground. I'm no electrician but I don't think it has a ballast.. just cords, a socket, and heavy duty fixture. My question is CAN I use this for anything useful, like light instead of heat? A way of converting it for useful light? Or should I just scrap it? Can I use the bulb socket for a normal cfl lol?
Thx for the help and advice in advanced
