URGENT HELP NEEDED!! +Pics

SWEET JESUS!
Can somebody help me out, it started out as just browning of the tip of the leaves, but now its spread.

I water it every 2 days, its got a mix of bone meal, premium MG potting mix, and normal soil with abit of perlite

Ive gave it as exactly like my otherplant, which is doing fine.

Just to tell you, I accidently dropped it from pocket hight, so i immediatly freaked out re potted it.

Hey Zoikes,

I'm new to growing and am currently having a plant problem as well, so take what I say with a grain of salt. When my seedling first started out it looked like yours with some twisty leaves. For me it was a pH problem. I didn't realize it but the pH of the tap water I was using was around 8.5, waaaay to high for MJ. The only thing that makes me doubt it being a pH problem for you, is that one plant is perfectly fine right? You're watering both the same correct? Did you mix both batches of soil exactly the same? Hope that helps man.

fert burn caused by ph imbalance.

next time avoid the MG soil.
time release nutes cuase constante risk of nute burn once you begin adding nutes.
something in the mg leaves traces that remain in the weed and alter its flavor when smoking.
making for a harsh funky kinda flavor.

when making soil next time dont use anything with time release nutes,
plain topsoil enriched with various organic suplements gives better results

Ive just rememberd, the one that is curling up and browning has got abit of bone meal in the soil.

What i have done to mix my soil, i have some;
Bone Meal
Garden Soil
MG Potting Mix
Perlite

That is all

The problem has got much worse, half the leaves are so brittle, i just touched the tip and it crumbled away D:

So do you really think it is nute burn?

I had two plants in MG soil. They were both doing bad so the first one I tried to rinse the soil by putting 3/1 water. 3 days later that plant was all the way dead.

The next one I carefully replanted knocking off as much dirt as I could from the root ball but the stem is skinny and you have to be careful. Cut off the dead growth and planted in good potting soil and pearlite. 2 weeks later that plant is perfect again.

I am very new I am just telling you what I did to get away from the MG soil thing.

Actually, the last thing you wanna do is flush this plant. Get it out of the MG soil, but don't flush it - The more water, the more nutes that are given to the plant... Meaning it is already dying from the overload of nutrients.... If you water it (I.E flushing) then you are just pounding your head into a wall. Get it into some NON MG soil. If you act now, there is still plenty of time for new growth. Remember - Don't worry about the old leaves, worry about the new stuff coming up. If all the new growth is healthy, and stays healthy, then you are doing something right!

I hate to disagree, but flushing growing medium removes water soluable material. Some may be converted to a more plant ready state, but as a whole, you flush to clean the growing meduim, not to encourage nutrient uptake. Flushing MG soild will remove some of the MG nutes. Getting rid of it would be better, but if you cant, flush.

It's so small still I would repot it using the stuff in the pic here. Use nothing but the bioroot for 2 weeks and I bet that little puppy will be doing fine....

I am simply speaking from personal experience. I think we can agree MG soil causes a multitude of headaches, no matter what the application. While you are removing nutrients via flushing, It stands to reason that you are also releasing the nutrients as well. Perhaps a clarification on precisely HOW nutrients are released in this sort of situation would be in order? In any effect - Get some solid soil, or better yet, spend 30 bucks and make a cheap DWC bucket, it is hard to go wrong there. Good luck in whatever you choose! =-)
