I finally got my friend to roll with me to the hydro store, and we bought materials for two more buckets, bringing our total bucket count to six! Four will be used for cannabis, one for my already established basil, and one for a Mr. Stripey tomato clone I have rooting right now.

The setup:
(2) 216w T5HO fluorescent arrays
(1) 400w HPS
(5) various air pumps
(6) airstones
(6) Bubble buckets with net pot lids

The Nutes:
GH Floragro
GH Floramicro
GH Florabloom
(all those nutes will go towards cannabis)
Epsom Salts
10-15-10 Schultz liquid w/micronutes
13-13-13 Dynamite
^^^ I know I'm about to get questions - why use a time-release soil fertilizer (The Florikan Dynamite) in a hydro system? Half of the nitrogen content is straight up nitrates, that's why! Everything else is water-soluble, and it comes with necessary micronutrients. Most soil fertilizer nitrogen sources are urea and ammoniacal nitrogen based, which requires bacteria to convert into nitrate form. This stuff will work just fine ground up and tossed into the system if carefully measured, and it's generally cheaper than most hydroponics nutrients. This is for experimental purposes only.

Lookin good! I had some chili pepeprs growing in soil while I was vegging my plant since the MH bulb was in. Now it lives outside with the maters, eggplant, onion, basil, and san pedro cactus :).

I would love to grow some indoor fruits like that, but my not-so-legal herbs take up all the indoor room :(.

Do you know what strain you will be planting in the 4 buckets? Seeds or clones?
