Many thanks to those providing insight on my first indoor attempt. Despite chasing over and under watering and the same with nutrients, my plants looked about dead until just recently, especially in the off cycle
I refilled my hot tub and the water went straight to hell. A good dose of ph decreased solved it immediately.
So, despite some saying not to mess with ph I bought a ph tester for $185 and a soil test kit. Ph was the only thing I hadn’t mess with.
Ph was 8.1 straight from the tap and nitrogen was nonexistent. I adjusted the ph to 6.5 with citric acid and watered with that, and then topped off with 20-20-20 in ph-corrected water.
After just 24 hours they look much better and aren’t saggy and sickly now that the lights are off.
I realize it’s early. Keep hope alive!
