Underfeeding or on track? First-timer - Week 5 of 12/12

Greetings Plant Lovers,

So below are some pics from day 37 after flipping to 12/12. It seems things are going well, but the lower leaves are starting to turn yellow at a pretty rapid pace. The plant is in a 3 gal smart pot with 70/30 coco and perlite. It's being fed GH trio nutes at just under half the recommended amount. Feeding/watering every other day on a feed, feed, plain water schedule.

How does the plant look to you guys? Is this amount of yellowing about right for day 37 of flower? A similar amount of yellow leaves were removed two days ago, so the lower fan leaves are turning yellow pretty quickly these days. Should the nutes be increased or steady as she goes?

id say looks pretty normal gonna loose sum leaves the older the plant gets all looks great man

i always have yellowing, too. a lot different setup but same yellowing (from what i see). i THINK its the plants way of surviving, on the nutes it has, and producing buds at the same time. if you could balance the nutes, it needs, then it may stay green till harvest???? i've had decent bud growth but it could always be better!!

Thanks for the replies Cowboy and Upnsmoke. I've read the leaves start to yellow as the plant gets further into flower, but I want to make sure I'm not starving the plant. I'm only feeding it about half the recommended amount because I've seen a lot of people saying feeding the full amount can cause nute burn. I'll probably increase the nutes a little since I haven't really seen any signs of nute burn yet. I don't want to lower the yield by not feeding her enough. Looks good brother !! I would just clean up the bottom your next go around wasted energy on the bottom or try spreading the plant with bamboo sticks so every section of your plant gets love cheers!!

Snip them off and keep doing what you've been doing.
