been watching a couple episodes of this show. has some fluff in it but it is pretty good educationally for a young business person.

its basically a ceo goes to different parts of his business undercover as a reality tv show about working. he gets his "co workers" to reveal shit.

looks at some pretty decent examples of bottlenecks and such for business noobs.

its pretty interesting show, i hope its not really scripted or sum shit tho.
the parts that are scripted are what employees are picked. they only take the best employees....for good reason. its basically a big commercial for the company involved.

but the real educational value stuff, IMO is the parts that identify bottlenecks and real problems. a lot of newbies to business over look the forrest for the trees. this show points them out.

plus its nice for people to see the importance of really finding out who your employees are. he isnt just some turbine wearing guy running a 7/11. he is a struggling student trying to finish his college so he can return to his country and do great things.

he's not just some goofy black guy making doughnuts and drawing stuff, he is an ex marine who really cares about his job and is an aspiring artist and can be used to help the company in many ways.

its a practical and humane lesson in business.

Unfortunately, it appears to be a formula show. Ceo goes under conver, finds a process or manager that's unfair and corrects it, finds an employee that even though has health problems is an inspiration, finds an employee that's overworked and then rewards them with a raise or vacation or whatever. The Waste Managment episode was good. I even like the Hooters and 7-11 episodes but the White Castle show sucked ass. That guy (ceo) was an overprivledged jack ass. Since his grandfather started the business this guy never had to learn what real hardwork is like. That's why he screwed up everything he touched.

The show isn't scripted in as much as it trying to follow a theme or formula which quickly gets too predictable and boring.

All reality shows are scripted, there isn't much reality on television unless you are watching something live.
