Under Current Spin Tight Bulkhead

Does anyone on here have the Current Culture Under Current system with the 2" spin tight bulkheads, that can tell me what size hole the bucket has in it?

They look dope but the price is so expensive, I just don't see how it can be worth it couldn't you just make the system yourself with buckets and pvc pipes for like 200 bucks or less?

600 bucks to build 2 individual six pot systems...I was at my local hydro store today, and for a 4 pot UC system they were asking around 900. I'm hoping I can do it for less than 600, depending on what I get the materials for.

throw in another $40 for misc. shit... and that assumes you already have tools like drill, hole saws, hack saw, pvc glue, measuring tape, etc.

My RDWC was built with n-g-w 1" bulkhead fittings in first five gallon buckets, and now 27 gallon tuffboxes- because they are indefinitely reusable.

I use 1" flexible tubing... it's stupid how much labor this saves, nevermind money.

I use netpot bucket lids over spacers cut from more five gallon buckets, less than five bucks apiece.

The control bucket has one copper water to water heat exchange coil, which is how my chiller maintains water temps. A smallish (633gph) circulation pump PULLS water from the control bucket- leaving gunk and sediment behind where it can be seen and removed- and pushes it through a manifold to deliver water to half inch elbow fittings in the top of every tubsite. Instant waterfall- AND NO MORE AIRPUMPS, STONES OR LINES!

My biggest is currently 2 1/2 # from one individual. I'm running another with the potential to dwarf that figure. I haven't done enough runs in Super Silos to be able to say what they can produce because I keep getting bigger numbers every time I do it. I'm very comfortable saying the potential is well over ten.

Yes, I am indoors. My RDWC is much cheaper than anything listed above, simply because of what I haven't purchased.
