Here is the pest repelling Transonic Bird X ultrasonic sound generator.

Now, I'm sure some have heard of ultrasonic plant stimulation. Here's a little yahoo answers about it:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090710172826AAEBs4x

Its pretty well known that ultrasonic plant stimulation will increase growth rates, but the following scholarly article goes into specifics of ultrasonic stimulation effects.

http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00253-002-0971-2#page-1

Now, if you read that article, you will see that the short bursts of 38.5 kHz ultrasound causes the plant cells to react defensively and increase secondary metabolite production for 24 hours. The link below is wiki secondary metabolites:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secondary_metabolite

If you read the above you will see that secondary metabolites are involved with plant health, vigor, and defenses. Please read the second paragraph of the following wiki entry:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahydrocannabinol

Yes, THC is a secondary metabolite. So not only would ultrasonic stimulation increase growth but if used in flower, could boost secondary metabolite production... THC...

I believe the ultrasonic sound generator above, purchased online from Walmart, would qualify as a low energy ultrasonic generator. The frequency rating is 3kHz - 40kHz so achieving 38.5kHz is possible. The unit oscillates between frequencies set by user. It has a setting for strictly ultrasonic noise. There are three patterns of oscillation but the manual and specifications do not go into detail about the patterns themselves. I emailed Transonic and they responded that they will get back to me. I will update with experimental pictures and hopefully information about the patterns later.

Is this some sort of biowave without all the moving parts?
I know biowaves generate subharmonic oscillation.
I don't think the biowave makes the claims you have posted about this other device but it does talk about yield.

biowave sounds like infrasound. vibrations so low you can't hear them. That price tag just turns me off. Ultrasonic frequencies are so high you can't hear them. From reading, I gathered that ultrasound causes molecule vibration within the plant cell increasing energy levels and catalyzing reactions. The biowave claims to help the plants breath better. I could see ultra low-frequency causing air to vibrate in and out of stomata faster than normal. Its like when you cough after taking a hit and you get higher. The coughing causes the air/smoke in ur lungs to become turbulent, swirl, and mix. This causes the smoke to come into more contact with your lungs and consequently gets you more stoned. Just a thought.

30 bux if that motherfucker scared off spider mites I'd buy a truckload, increased rate of growth would be bonus.
