OK fellow growers, I currently have 1 Critical Jack Auto Feminized. Lighting is (8) 23w cfl (2-2700k 2-6500k and 4-5000k
She is 11 days old (3rd node formed) I went to transplant her into a bigger bucket and, I didn't let the soils dry enough and after I removed the clump ( as I was turning it over) the root ball fell apart. It was only a couple inches from its final resting place.
Besides a few days of stunted growth does anyone think I did worse damage?

she'll most likely be fine, just a bit stunted growth, which might take a bit of time for her to get back to full potential.

soak up the pot next time you transplant to keep the root ball intact . made that same mistake on my first run ... the plant made it thru thou . good luck

you might have transplanted too early, and the roots weren't holding all the soil, yeah a few roots may have broken when the clump fell off but i don't think it makes a huge difference
the more rootbound the plant gets, the better it will hold the soil

which is why some like to go into the final pots right away, they don't ever want rootbound plants and transplanting a plant that isn't rootbound can be tough (as you see)

Thanks guys. Its been about 30 hrs since my mayhem. Leaves are drooping. Holding color but drooping as if there wasn't enough water. The soil is nice and moist. I foliar water every night. I hope she re-roots properly

I can't upload pics on my Android anymore :(

I did the same thing sorta, everything went fine though, someone told me as long as you don't damage the roots it will be okay

Use some Superthrive. Great for transplant stress... any stress tbh.

The auxins it releases, in theory, should help with things like LST/Scrog also - assist in creating new tops and deal with the stress better.

your plant might be drooping from too much watering and not from transplanting . if the soil is nice and moist then leave the plant the fuck alone
