Ugh!!

Oh boy, oh boy..

Ok so this my first grow... day nine.. being that my budget is tight, I was forced to take shortcuts..

From germanization to now I had my seedlings under a regular household cfl... and oh boy do I see issues already... like the seedlings are skinny... stretching for light... in danger of falling over...

Also, Im starting to notice brown spots on the leaves ... so I scrapped up enough change to buy a Hydrofarm cfl.. 125w.. came with reflector...

I transferred the surviving seedlings into larger dwellings, buried most of the stems, and also applied that fox farm big bloom.. I have a fan on 18hrs, and crossed my fingers...

Is there anything else you guys suggest??

don't feed seedlings......you'll kill them

Oh really? Ok.. well Im glad I already have some other seeds in the works... (another reason why I wanted to use these seeds)... was it too soon to transfer them? How bad we the shock be??

I leave my seedlings in their dixie cups until the root mass pretty much fills the soil. Aprox. 3 weeks. DoNot Feed! Do Not Overwater!!
The soil should be just damp, Not Wet!!. You want the seedlings to send out roots looking for water, not sitting in water. Usully when you see a root sticking out of the drain holes then its time to transplant. If the soil is fairly dry then transplanting is easy, as the soil and roots come out of the cup easily and intact. This prevents any damage and minimizes any shock. You did right by adding soil to make up for the stretch, as this does no harm and makes for a larger root mass. A light misting now and then doesnt hurt either.

Check your ph and stay away from nutrients until they're bigger, they'll just burn right up. What kind of soil are you using?

flush then poke holes in your soil, probably 2-3 water bottles worth for those party cups. id use rainwater or perfect ph water, then poke holes 2" away from the stems so they drain out and wick well. if the burns progress, i really suggest doing this.
