UFO LED's any good?

I'm considering buying a few of the 90W UFO's to use purely for veging only. I found a source to get them for about 150 a piece and at that price I can pit 3-4 of them up.

What's the feedback been on them so far? Do they work well for veging?

I would still flower with a HPS setup.

i asked my hydro store about them and he is prety straight up he doesnt try to sell me snake oil to make a buck. so he tells me they r no good buy themself if anygood at all more a suplment lighting but this is just what i have been told buy them for what they cost shit goto htg and get a 400w for a buck twenty it comes with reflector ballest bulb everything u need or the digital 600w for 2 bills. i prefer both so i can run a ceramic metal hal in the 400 along with the 600hps but thats just imo i have never done a side by side and as far as the 1's i have seen anyone can throw a plant already grown under led and say looky here ild have to see with my own eyes. if u do use them let me know what u think

skip the LED's. if you want something like that go for t5 HO florescence.
How do the T5's do with heat production and energy costs?

The grow we are doing is legal as far as the state is concerned but the Feds can still kick in the door if they want too. We are trying to reduce our heat signature and reduce energy costs.

T5's are a little hotter than T8's, (orT12's) T-5 ballasts optimal running temp is 95*, where as T8's is 78* or so but not much difference, if I was shopping for tubes I'd look at T5's.

I keep 4 bonsai moms and any rooting clones I have under an all blue 90W UFO, I think it would even veg 2 plants decent too but no way I'd try to flower with it. Now if I didnt keep mothers I would use it to suppliment my 2 600HPS's, then again if I didnt keep mothers I wouldn't of bought it in the first place.
