This is the second time in 3 days this plant has suddenly got all droopy and

upset, my temps are pretty high in there but they have always been happy

regardlless of that. I guess keep in mind my humidity is too low though they

haven't cared about that either... maybe until now.

40 days young, it is a bit happier now, last photo was from about 15-20 hours ago I guess, it seems to have perked up a little now just woken up

Yeah Mental I have been feeding about 2ml per litre of grow to the water, auto watering 4 times a day, no water on the cube itself, just through media

What do you think of the plant itself for its age??? anybody with thoughts are greatly appreciated, thanks:mrgreen:

How long would u think for this little ball to tell me more, assuming it's

showing sex, would it need to wait till 12/12 to shoot out a pistil if female or

to grow more balls if male, they appeared on a few nodes today

Hey Hoochie-
Plants look pretty healthy now...... What is your temp? What lights you under? Ventilation?

Only thing that I can see is the top o' that rockwool cube poking through your media. That is def a no go. Plants tend to hate that shit. The top of your roots will eventually dry out, or be exposed to the elements to long (heat, humidity, non-humidity, pests), either way it will all end in tears if you don't cover that top up w more media.

And for sex, you will be able to discern when you put them into 12/12.

Ehh it doesnt look kinda small. You lights for one are too far away, CFLs should be kept less than 3 inches away.

I would expect a foot tall plant in soil with 2 CFLs.

"Plants look pretty healthy now...... What is your temp? What lights you under? Ventilation?"

The temps are 20-36 (55-100)... yeah pretty high.

Humidity 15-30%!!! can't keep it humid in there with the HID lamp on, I have 2 towels in there hanging up that I wet twice a day and they dry out by the next watering (about 2 litres a day evapourated)
It must be sucked out straight away

I have a 150mm (6") exhaust fan 6" intake (no fan) air is pulled from my sub floor which is very cold air... maybe dry air haven't checked humidity under there.

Lights. I have a 600w HPS currently about 2 feet from tops
I have 10 cfl's @ 6500k though I don't really use them anymore with the HID

Thanks maseo

Intensive, they could well be small for hydro as this is my first grow... dunno, I

appreciate all feed back as it is a good way to gauge how sucessful or not my grow is

going. They are starting their 9th sets of leaves, is it wrong for me to suggest that

people shouldn't comment on plants height? I have (until HID a week ago) lit my plants

from sides with no lighting from above. I would think that a person would refer to

growth with amount of nodes and internodal length... not height? Any comments from

anyone appreciated on that topic, I seem to see a lot of posts referring to heights of

peoples plants, isn't this irrelevant? If I used no side lighting and had lights high from

the start my plants would be tall, but less bud sites, true?

i think i know what you did... ding ding ding ding.... you vegged using a HPS light didn't you..... you used CRLFs and the hps for veg.... i've seen this done before, let me ask you are your plants reallly hard... like sticks.... i've seen this before where the plants get stunted from not having the right light spectrum... plus other things.. from looking at your first photo.. i thought it may have been your ph for some reason... when plants get a little low on the ph side the tend to droop down, then it take so long for them to work back up... thats just a guess.... what is your ph running at and what type of lights did you use during veg?

cfl's for first 32 days of veg, 10 of them @6500k, last week I turned on my 2700k 600watt HPS, only having 1 cfl on each plant from then on.

My Ph is always around 6 I add PH down each day accordingly

I think the issue with the drooping was over watering, I noticed that one of my feeding had moved a bit and was squirting water straight onto the cube and saturating it for 2 days... 8 times over, I resolved this by re-situating it and then it was happier.

My plants are very bendy, for example it I move leaves out of the way to have a peek at my little pre flowers a bit better under the light they will stay bent and slowly bend back to normal, not rigid at all, thanks for the idea though.

The light spectrums I am using seem to be spot on, especially the CFL @6500k unless I have lost the plot...

Thanks for your quick reply DANK, any thought/comments muchly appreciated by you fellow toasters

The plants are stunted because for 32 days I lit them from the side only, promoting them to stay put and not go up, I'm after squat fat bitches, though on the same token I haven't grown before so I may well be wrong... their on their 9th set

thats kewl, 42 days just seams like a long time... maybe its just cuz you did 1 clf per light, how tall is the plant now? i always figure the plant will be double to 2/3 the size it is when you start flowering.... so if a plant is veged to 1ft tall when its done flowering it will be from 2 to 3 feet tall depending on the strain... next time you'll get faster results if you use like a 400w mh to veg them... they will grow soo much faster... you would only have to use the light for like for like 2 or 3 weeks before starting flower anyway, just some food for thought....

when you start flowering, in the first 2 weeks that follow you will get to see a bunch of growth... lookin forward to seeing them take off.. what kinda nutriants are you using? how big is your grow area? your gona wanta keep the hps up higer of them, your gona wanta stetch your plants out some... 600 watts can give you 1lb.. but to achive 1lb you'll have to fill a 3x3 area... and the penitration for the canipy is gona be about 2 feet, so you don't reallly want flat bitches.. you want bushy bitches.... jungle fever up in there... i like bushes... baked beans mmmm mmm good :-)

For the first month I had approx 3 cfl's per plant and my temp and humidity was always good
When I bought my setup I didn't know of MH, if I had of I woulda got a ballast that

could be useful for both bulbs... but I didn't. I decided to be creative with a shit load of

cfl's on wire, thought it would be good in flower when the plants are bigger I can get

right in there under sites etc, coz of the wire bendiness.

I got 3 plants in there, the area is 1250x850x1800mm, I'm a builder so I work in mm...

you probably want feet hey? 4x3x6 feet

Talking of fat bushy room filling buds is spine tingling, what a thought, that's the plan though. I have been told not to expect much on first grow...

Don't ya think I should keep the light close so I can promote as much growth as possible?

I will post a pic now of current situation, see what ya think.

Nutes are in pic "Greendream"

6-7" tall approx 10" wide
