Two weeks to go and hairs not changing colour

Veg for 3 weeks under 250w metal halide, then have bud for 6 weeks so far under 250w hps

Should my hairs or started to turn red, brown yet? so far they have started to change colour at all and I feel with only 2/3 weeks left they should of?

any indications why they havn't if they should of?

You will be fine man. The hairs are NOT an indicator of the plant being done. You need a 60-100x microscope to check your trichomes, and that is how you tell when there done. The hairs may stay white all the way through. You need to check your trichomes to get an accurate estimate!!! Good luck...

Your title says two weeks to go but your plants are waving the BS flag. Make sure you have a scope to check trics.....but white hairs are definately a sign that the plant is still growing and seeking reproduction.

Hang tight and she'll start showing signs of the life cycle coming to an end. Trics will turn cloudy, hairs will get reddish brown, fan leaves will be depleated of nutrients...just to name a few.

The flowering time listed with the strain is not an exact science but rather a number to let you know when to start expecting her to be finished.

whats the strain?
whats the flowering period for that particular strain?

Otherwise, keep a watchful eye on those trichomes.

you go by the plant not the seed company or what sumone says, its the plant that tels you when its done

Exactly what tussel said......I also forgot to mention that if your looking at your plants while the HPS lights are on, it is a bit deceiving. If look at them under a normal light you might see something more along the lines of what you are looking for.

the strain is ice from nivana and it reckoned 8/9 weeks. A lot of the leaves have yellowed so i presumed it was around a few weeks left but maybe not
