Two way mirror questions.

I was thinking about putting a piece of it in one of my walls in my stealth grow room so i can look in and check the temps and stuff without having to open the door on the room. And i could hide it behind a picture frame on the wall and you would not know that it was there. Does anyone know where to purchase some of the 2 way mirrors? I was just curious as i have not seen it in any local hardware stores like Lowes or Home Depot. Thanks for any help.

Thanks, i was kinda hoping for a link to a good place to order off the internet. I made a window in the wall that is like 5X7in and put up a piece of mylar pulled tight and taped over the hole. And i have a picture hanging over it and you cant even tell that it is there. I am still going to find some 2 way mirror out of plexiglass and put it up. I like to be able to see in the room anytime that i want without disturbing the room at all. I can plainly see the temps and humidity gauge. I can even look directly in the hps light and it does not hurt your eyes at all. The mylar that i have is like a 2 way mirror where you can hold it up to a light and you can see thru it. I will post a couple pics of how it looks for now. The mylar that i had was a little scratched up but it works.

Rather than going to a glass store, consider buying One Way Mirror Window Film.

It's basically window tint film like this You can google this and find the best price, you could look for a 'remnant' piece in the size you need sold for cheap.

Thanks, I really like it. I have only had to open the door one time all day and that was just to water them. Now this is the kind of grow room that i have been wanting. It is pretty much totally stealth. Now the next thing on my list to get done is a carbon filter on the exhaust so no smells will be in the exiting air to the outside and it will be perfect for me.

Yeah Im only 8 days into flowering and my bedroom is smelling sooooo sweet and danky when the exhaust fan isn't on I love it..

My place really smelled dank with my last grow. Although i kinda like it, for me it does not go with the stealthy room that i have. I have family that comes and visits a few times a year and i dont want them to know what i am doing.

I just ahve a remot sensor, Messures Humidity and Temps and beams it out to a Weather Station I keep in my room. But I like the glass.

It is not that i am lazy. I just dont like to have the door open all the time. It lets out alot of light that can be directed back at the plants. And it is not very stealthy if the door is open. I live in a small house with just enough room for me. And the room is right near my living room so if i have company over then they will know what i am doing. I can still get up and close with the plants when i want to. All i have to do is open the door and do what i got to do and then close it up and not worry about things. And what makes you think that i am lazy? And i really dont care if you think it is a dumb idea.
