i can only seem to find t8 3000k and 4100k. is the 3000k good enough to flower with and can i use 4100k for veg? i want to use t8's because walmart has those 4 ft shop light fixtures for just $10 a piece and i found 32 watt 4 ft t8 bulbs for just over $2 a piece.

3000°K can be used for flowering, I would look around at other stores for 6500°K bulbs for veg

You can find 4 ft. 7000k or 6500k flouro tubes at walmart. That's what I use for veg. well, actually have fixtures with one 7000k and one GE Plant and Aquarium bulb to make sure they cover the spectrum well. I'm not sure if they produce the lumens needed to flower though, I only grow mine to about 6" - 10" then move them under a HPS. I imagine they could be used to flower, but only if you had enough electrician knowledge to remove them from the crappy reflectors wallmart sells and mount them straight to a wall or board.
