Trying to understand PH

i am growing in sphagnum peat and the ph is around 5.7
when i water and feed should the ph of the water be the same?

seem to always have issues with ph. any help would be great. thanks

Shagnum peat is considered "soil less," so your PH is around what works for that medium. In my experience, 5.8-5.9 works very well as a range to keep PH in soil less.

But as Oceanside said, check PH after you water because the runoff might be different than the PH of what you put in.

Don't u think 5.6 is too low? I was always under the impression cannabis grew best in an almost neutral medium of about 6.8. Peat is acidic as a rule and as a planting medium holds too much moisture. You need perlite to help with drainage.
To answer your question you don't need to adjust the water before u feed. The medium will temper the ph of the water u use.
