So I have 2 Mars Hydro 5x5 tents; one for flowering and one for vegetating. Aside from this I have one grow dome with heat mat And a HydroBros growers light. For my medium I am starting to learn with Nutrient-less dirt: I forget the name now. It's kept in a large plastic container. I am feeding the dirt with Dr.Earth Veg, Bloom, And 4-4-4 to maintain a feeding every month until harvest. Everything seems to do EXCEPTIONALLY well before going into Flower tent, and I assume that is where I am having trouble.
I've marked it down to:
1) PH: The plants in question are HASHBAR. They started stretching really tall and yellow leaves at the bottom. The yellow leaves have turned gray, which tells me I need to do SOMETHING instead of waiting a few weeks to let it go. I was timid at first, but I tried lowering the PH from 6.7 [which I do all of flowering usually as soon as I put them in the tent] to 6.5 to help release more phosphorus...however I got this from the grow bible. My uncle said I might do well to give it more alkaline but it's hard to gauge.
AND I AM FRIGGING GUESSING ON PH. HAAAAA. So I keep it simple. PH for babies 6.5, veg tent 6.6, and flower tent 6.7.
2) Light intensity: The lights I run for both tents are MARS HYDRO 680watt-fce6500 for both tents: In Veg I keep the intensity at 25%, and the flower tent is set for 75%. I think I may be stressing them; I want to acclimate them, but that means the plants already in the tent lose intensity. My uncle suggested keeping the veg tent at 50% and the flower tent at 75%. Maybe. I still say there's a missing piece here.
3) Water: I use simple tap water, as this design was to be light on the wallet as possible, until I actually make harvests. [yes I know the stab myself in the foot talk with cheapness..move on] However, I use a air stone and petco aquatic heater to keep it around 80 degrees. I sometimes do not let it sit for 24 hours FULLY, but I do let it set afternight. I was told I should get a water test kit just in case.
It's interesting because I can tell only my hashbar are getting deeply affected. However, that's not to say the rest of the plants I have in flower {kushcake, Trainwreck, and Lemon Kush} cannot be fine tuned.
I am looking for ANY TOPIC MAGNETS FOR THIS PAGE BASED ON WHAT I'VE WRITTEN ABOUT. Feel free to leave a post that pertains to this situation. Any help is greatly appreciated. so for a while I suppose I was underwatering, by a few ounces. I would have to water every day. But I recent changed that. The bible said to help release more Phosphorus, I had to drop the PH from 6.7 to 6.5.
