Trying to figure this outout

Having a hard time diagnosing my problem here, I'm wondering if it's not two separate problems.

I took some cuttings from this a week ago and put it into 12/12 the day after. Have only given this plant a single light feeding of 4/4/1 nutes because the soil it's in is pretty hot already.

Why are you using nutes if your growing in soil?

I've always used nutes in soil! I gave it a light feeding and never had that reaction. I think this soil is just hot compared to what I'm used too. Haven't grown in a few years and with rec legalization. Figured I'd give it a go.

I used to grow in ff light warrior and always added my own nutes
