trimming the lower leafs?

There is none...leaves take the light and make it into energy. If anything people talk about cutting leaves to let the buding tips get direct sun but i just bow my branches out to do that.

grow smaller you should aim to use all of the leaves you grew. if you vegged and its bigger you could remove some of the bottom shit that will not develop. i think leaves help their local bud site and chopping a spindal bottom branch on a plant that wont develop it wont hurt and may increase air flow and give you a plant that is not waving its arms around when you move it, but, i would say grow smaller next time and use every leaf

well you see, my plant is very small, its 15in tall and the bottom leafs were getting yellow, so i cut them off, which was 4 leafs. Now in that spot there is miny leafs growing at the spots i cut at, it wasnt flowering before so i thought they would now, i still got another 8 weeks of flowering to go

It's a slow developing bud site trying to grow back. Shave it off with a box cutter to avoid it growing back next time. I got behind with my pruning on my current grow & it's catching up to me now. A lot of the interior bud sites aren't developing & I've been forced to cut them off. If a bud site isn't growing 3-4 weeks into flowering it needs to be removed so the plant can concentrate energy on growing the sites that are receiving enough light. The lower you go on the plant the more this becomes an issue. The leaves that turned yellow & fell off most likely did so from a nitrogen deficiency. The plant sucked the nutrients out of that leaf to ensure it's own survival. Make sure your plant is getting enough nutrients.
