Trimming Auto fan leaves?

|<roni>|

Whats up, iv been growing 3 autoflowers (was 6 but 3 were male) & on the 1 onyx auto iv tied the leaves down so more light can get through to the buds lower down, its quite a leafy plant and am wondering if its wise to cut a few of the bigger leaves off, iv read elsewhere that it might not be a good idea but not sure
onyx, you can see in the 1 pic how iv tied the leaves down in effort to get more light to the area

2 poison dwarf's, not as big as the onyx, 1 in a gallon pot& another in just a 7 inch pot, gonna see what the different results are from pot sizes

so yeah, any tips on what to do about fan leaves or to maximise light, im only using 4 100w cfls
