Transplanting from Aerogarden to Hydroton balls

I have 3 clones in an aerogarden that have out grown it. i'm moving them to my cupboard with a recycle system with clay balls under a 400 w light.

the problem:
All their roots are entangled together.

Is there an easy way without hurting the plants too much??
