transplanting cell plugs

hey all, i recently am starting a grow and have put seeds into some tree bark plugs and the root has come out the bottom and i am about to put into larger pots. My question is do i cut the end of the root off so it can grow straight down to the pot or just tuck the root down because its coming out pointing right. Anyone with experience know about this?

Does it have it's first leaf set? If so, put the whole plug in with the leafs straight up. The roots will adjust themselves and it may only be showing one root of several in the pellet. NEVER cut roots, especially at such an early stage.
