transplanting autos....

I read somewhere that it is better to start an auto in the container it will be in till harvest. I would really like to start multiple plants in smaller containers and then get rid of the males and only be left with my females and then put them into bigger containers. So my question is, will this hurt my auto more than its worth to transplant?

Yes. An auto has a very limited time to grow, and transplanting usually wastes precious time. Your plant will be smaller than if you just started in a 1 gallon and stayed there. You cannot wear out the soil in 10 weeks.

I HAVE TRANSPLANTED AUTOS MANY TIMES do it carfully and only once
they like about a 2 to a 2 1/2 gal pot
start in a deep cup like fastfood drink cup has a long tap root
show sex in 17 to 21 day
will start to flower in week 3
flower from week 6 to 9
flush week 8
loves light and root stimulator
hatest full nutes i normally start at week 2 at bout 1/5 strenth and go up to 1/2 strenth mak
treat as seedling first 2 weeks just water 3 rd week go to the 1/5 then up every week to 1/2
dont end by date end by trichs as normal
smell ia strong for a little guy

wrong just make sure you give autos plenty of light if your light range is 6 to 12 inches of coverage stay 9 in, halfway will be fine

Every transplant will set it back a bit...every one. Why transplant at all? there is no need. Why make more steps than necessary? We're talking about a 2 month grow.

some make big tramatic deal of transplant i make less stress as poss. I just split cup into 2 pieces lay on side take out root ball place in new prepared pot done in 3 seconds i dont know what you are talking about

grew and did seed run on my second grow with diesel ryders growing out beans now one mutated and hermed collected pollen just busted 2 easy ryders going to use hermed pollen on 1 to get fem beans.
