Transplanting and starting flowering

I have two plants that are 1ft tall in 6in pots and they have become root bound.

My Grow area is small so i can only let them grow a little bit more so i was going to start flowering after the transplant. I didn't know if this was a good idea.

also wanted to know in transplanting do i want to remove all old soil or make room in the new pot for the old soil.

Well you can buy pots that are much wider or taller then what you have now depending on the size of your grow room. If you are limited in height space then buy something a lot wider, but the same height for your babies.

As for transplanting, put your new soil in the new pot and then use your hand to make a spot in the center that will fit the entire old soil in the new pot. Just slowly bat the bottom of the old pot until the soil comes out in a nice shape and place it in the new pot very carefully. Do this before you flower or in the very beginning of your flowering process. Remember that plants can double and sometimes even triple (never had that though). Good luck!!

you got 1ft tall plant with only 6 notches, that poor thing sounds stretched a bit dude!

how old is it? if is less the 8 weeks, place it in a bigger pot, 2-3 gallons is a good size since the rule of thumb is one gallon per foot of height if you done with that, top the baby by 4-6 inches, really do that and then veg it a bit more. what ever light you use get it closer, CFLs within 1-2" really as long they are non of those big 150-200W fuckers, they best kept at 2-5"!

use a bit of superthrive to prevent transplant shock and give it a week to recover before flowering.
