Transplant Help...

I have 6 plants that are still pretty early in development and I have had them in the original plastic cups they sprouted in i'm just wondering if they should be transplanted into a new larger pot. Yesterday I had 2 plants that died from the heat so i decided to probe around in the dirt and the roots hit the bottom of the cup and started to curl up around the bottom due to lack of room. So i'm guessing that the others are like that to. What do you think i should do transplant or wait? And if i should transplant how should I go about it I couldn't find any thread about transplanting.

I would definately transplant them if you've had two die already. The more room you give the roots to grow, the faster it will grow.

Your plants shouldn't be dying off in cups of that size when they're that small. I planted some bagseeds in 16oz beer cups and let them grow till they were about 8-9 inches before I took the time to transplant them. I should have transplanted them earlier, but decided to just see what happened if I left them in the cups longer. I later practiced topping/fim on them after transplanting them to 5"x5"x5" pots.
