I use a trellis net. I set the height of the net where I would like my plants to flower from. I use a 4" square net meant for a 3'x3' but stretches nice and tight for my 4'x4'. I top the main top when I have 6 to 8 main colas. The amount of main colas won't be the issue because colas will grow out of the main colas. I pulled my plants to the front of the tent. Then begin push the top growth to the back of the tent, essentially growing the plant at a 45 degree angle. Top every cola and colas that grow out of the cola. Knowing when to start flower is key as they will stretch twice as big and a grow space such as yours may get tricky. Looks like you have a 2'x4'?IMG_20211014_120432.jpg

Yes. I forgot to add that I pinch and bend them as well. You think you need to be gentle with them but they are tough. It only makes them tougher

I'm like uh uh no way you getting taller than this net lol. Pinch, bend, top, tuck, and grow!

Aww. Well you could have said that earlier heheh. That's why I like photo. I got more control over the situation but you can use your smaller space more efficiently with just 1 light cycle for a phases. Take one out and put one in?

Instead of "bending" over LST. On this grow I did a "spread" LST. The light penetrates better and the plants build a more even canopy. Takes up a little more space and the plants get a little taller but the results so far have been much better than just bending over the plants as I have been doing before. spread trained.jpg

You can bend as long as you have a couple of nodes, and in my opinion LST should be started as soon as possible. With a tiny plant you just have to be careful. Break that apical dominance!

This is the plant I'm growing now. I could have started lst much earlier than I did. Not that this was too late by any means.
