Training my dog to find outdoor grows

I put out so many plants this year only to have my dog follow my scent miles away from the spot to dig it up. I know it was him because of the teeth marks and hair he loves to tear my shit up. So I have a friend who cant find most of his plants because he lost his GPS.

So I get to thinking, why not train this little monster to find plants?

Any ideas or doubts? Please this could be a great thread!

May take a year or two to train your dog.

Yeah, doesn't sound like something that can be pulled off easily or quickly.
If you do try, just remember that it isn't your dogs fault if he doesn't learn.

Easy to explain. If you want to steal others grows cuz your grow hasnt happend yet. Thats just raw, I would freak the fuck out to see my crop chopd by anyone. Cool idea but wrong way to use it!
