I am looking for some ideas on how to make some sort of track system for my light(s).

I have 2 shop ballasts and two 430w bulbs. The ballasts I have are the type that you see hanging in a factory, with the 20amp ballast above the light. I still need to pick up reflectors but not quite sure what I should pick.

What I want to build is something similar to a garage door track to make the light(s) go from the beginning of the row to the end, and back- I am not sure how to do that though, or how fast they should go.

I need some suggestions on how to make my idea work. Using 5gal pails, my goal is to have 8-10 plants in two rows. High energy bills are not a red flag, but electricity is obviously expensive.

With my goals in mind, do you think I can get away with using one light centered between the plants? Maybe if I use different pails? And how about making the light slowly go from one end to the other? Anyone have any suggestions for me?

Okay, don't mind if it takes a little time to respond. I do not have a solid connection at home. :leaf:
