tops not big enough for good yield?

I'm worried that the 2 topps of my blueberry plant aren't big enough and will only produce tiny colas.
I do have other bud sites but I was really depending on the 2 main tops.
At the start of my 4th week of veg I told my mate who also grows that at the start of the 5th week im going to 12/12. He then told me that I should top the plant before to greater the yield. So i topped it the first day of week 4 and it was a success however tomorrow is going to be the end of the 2nd week of flowering and the tops are only this big. I imagine that growth is going to slow now as bud production takes over so does this mean these 2 tops are not going to get big colas?

My plant has been on 12/12 for 43 days now, but I didn't get any buds starting until day 30, but since then, I have had quite a bit for just 13 days.
Be patient man,plants are like kids, they all grow at different speeds.
