Topping?

Do it. It increases yield. Just be sure to keep the plant otherwise healthy and happy, it will help ensure that the stress of topping doesn't prompt it to flower. I've started every auto I've grown in a solo cup and topped them, none of them flowered early.

What is crazy I accidentally planted two in one 3 gallon pot. Can't believe how many Blooms.

Grow before took most the Leaves off this time leaving them on, we shall see.

I've found that when you do it matters. I top after the 4th node. When I've waited longer and topped after the 5th, with faster maturing plants it negatively impacted them, the top branches didn't stretch and I got short crowded colas up top.

So I'd say it's something that can be done with confidence if done well.

Over the years, I've topped most plants mainly for canopy control in a perpetual grow. I often grow two or 3 of the same strain so I can leave one natural to compare yeilds, etc. I grow in 1 gal pots, so perhaps larger pots would be different, but I seldom see larger yeild on either, only a difference in cola size........as long as quality stays the same, then it's more about canopy control
