topping vs not

Hey so I know theres a whole debate on wether or not topping your plant's actually yields more bud or is it the same amount your original top cola would have produced? Is it worth it to top them during the vegitative stage or not? beneficial or detrimental????

i do it if a plant or two get a little tall in vegative mode,if you cut the top tip three quarters off your plant will make up to 4 or more tops,but if you just wack off the plant on the stem right above two branches then you only get two tops,look up fimming a plant google it

i like the dense nuggs more tops produce rather than one cola,the colas are good for sell wieght though if your leaning twards that direction
