Topping questions

I've topped a few of my plants thinking it would make them bushy, but the two branchs come out of the top but not much growth coming from sides like I thought there would. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong. I super croped one and it did alot more branching out than the ones I topped. Also when should I stop topping and super cropping.

Try LST or keep on topping.

Yeah LST or keep topping that is great advice. But I think you have a stretchy plant by your description. Usually I top them before cloning so when it clones it splits out into a V immediately with about 1 to 2 inches of base stem. Then I whack those two to make them 4. Then when it grows larger I spread it open. You can see many examples of this on Google since honestly I stole this.
