TOPPED Purple Erkle Need advice helpp please..

my friend topped my plant i think he might of mest up heres a painting oh how he did it..it was 1 foot 6in wen he topped it it was really bushy i thougt it should of let it get taller and more branches but what do you think?check out my older forums too see how its been growing.when he topped it he took the middle top the two little ones that come off the side of it too i thought yu just cut the middle one. the black line is what came all off. arrows point to the top.
