topped @ 11 inchs

ok so i didnt know wen to top my plant so i did it wen it was about 11 inches . i have 4 cfls and a fan . this is still my first grow ever and i am very pleased with the help ive got from this site .. thanks everybody!!

what results are you looking to achieve? you will not get 2 or 4 dominant colas but you should get a bushy plant. its not too late, if you want four main dominant colas you have to go back in there and cut it above the second true node. i know it seems like your losing most of the plant but the 1 and 2 nodes will grow up and branch out nicely. allow at least two weeks to heal and develop before switching to 12/12.

i want it to get bushy . will it still grow bigger though

not taller ...i mean the branches will but not the stalk. but its gonna get big n bushy now.

rzza is 100% correct, It will definitely bush out now. I would get more intimate with your plant especially if you have just the one. While it is still pliable you could easily work the top over and secure it to the rim of the pot. That would also enable you to lower your lights around 5-6 inches or so and get more surface area exposed to your lamps. Do that for a few weeks and your bottom growth will catch up to your two new ones and you will have a bush with 6-9 equal tops. The pics look great BTW.

so i'd say that my plant is growing way more bushy now . still in veg next week it goes into flower

With my last grow, I topped one plant and it became my most beautiful....ressembled an upsie down umbrella with about 20 2-3" buds..... Mine was about 14" tall when I clipped it above the second teir...it grew wider than taller and the branching was much more efficient than any lst ..........definitely something I'll do again....that one was a Flying Dutchman Pure from speedyseeds and is some potent damn skunk! Great daytime high!!!
