Too potent!!

Might sound like a dumb Q but I made cannabutter twice as strong as intended. I want to cut it in half with more new butter. If I low heat it and stir it will this result in canna utter that is half as strong? Seems logical but food science is not my game. Thank you?
 
Actually sounds like a good idea

also this is very important, label the batch for potency. like when i make a master batch enough for 100 portions of chocolate of normal potency i label it as 100 portions and with the total weight. that way you can calculate whats left and how many portions you can get without overdosing yourself and others :)
