Too Much Trimming?

Hey guys. FIrst time grower here. I brought my clones and they were very sad. Drooping Nute burn Rootbound ETC. They came back healthy and beautiful. But some of the old fan leaves were dying and taking light away from my stalks growing out. I trimmed about 4 from each plant Is that too much? Note I did NOT trim any stalks. Just the leaf growing straight from the main stem.

As long as there are new grow shoots and fan leaves left to fuel the plants, you will be fine.
