Too much nutrients?

I've never posted on a forum about my plants, but now is the time. I am a new grower. 2 days after putting my 2 month old plants (roots organic soil) under their new 600 watt hps home, AND giving them their first nutrient feeding, they have gotten very droopy. I had very little knowledge buying nutrients, so I went with fox farms vegetative growth 6-4-4. I fed them 2 tbs. in one gallon (called for 2-3 per gal). They used half of that gallon the day that I fed them. The conditions in the room are fine, so I assume it is the nutrients. The only reason I'm thinking it may not be is that one plant was never as droopy as the the other, and it has made almost a full recovery. The one that is suffering more was recently transplanted and it looked as if not all of the roots came out of the pot when I transplanted. I was wondering if that way have shocked it too much. The pictures may not show but there is quite a bit of yellowing on the newer leaves. Will my plants be okay? What should I do?

Mine did the same after transplant but mine were autos, let it dry right out then go in with normal water until you see progress then go back with nutes

Here's some good advice :)

Your plants are young and freshly transplanted. Soil already has nutrients. When you add more nutrients, you are double feeding the plant which makes her upset :)

The soil you have will be enough to feed the plant for a awhile. Water her with just pH'd water (6.5) for a week. Make sure she drys out! Soil can be overwatered!

Once you see her happy again you can start again with your nutrient feeding. How much with fox farm I couldnt really tell you. Start small and work up.

Any questions let me know :)

Ive seen plants that look "dead" come back after a week or two.

It really depends on how much time and effort you want to put into seeing if she'll make it. Might want to try again sadly.

If I were you.

I would not water her anymore until you see the substrate drying out. If you do water her, make sure it's pH'd water. Repeat (wait for her to dry out).

Keep a light on her 18-24 hours a day. I wouldn't use those 600 watt's, they're a little too much right now, especially for a plant that's in shock. Buy a cheap day bright florescent, keep the room conditions right, and cross your fingers.

Ive been doing everything except keeping it under a 600 watt. I have a 25 watt t-5 strip light that I used to sprout it up. That should do the trick.

Well the plant is back to almost fully healthy it looks like. I just left it under the 24w t5 jump start strip. I also threw over my thermarest sleeping pad (shown in pic) that is somewhat reflective with a fan to keep some air blowing. I am wondering if it is ready to be put under the 600w? I have not watered it the last 3 days and it is still moist, so I think I may have just over watered. I want to get it under there ASAP because I'm not sure if the light strip is putting out the light that the plant needs. But I also do not want to put it under the light too early either.

My 600w does a great job at keeping my humidity down in my 4x4.

I'd put her under. Shes gonna dry up quicker and give you the light you need.
