it smells delish in there. I can get a faint whiff of bud if I stick my nose close to the top of the plant, but I get a dank scent if I rub the stem.

so uh it's been about 4 or 5 days into 12/12 now. do male plants smell too? (i'm guessing they do) I just really hope this is a female since it's my only plant

Yes male plants smell just like female. You should be able to tell sex within the next week.

yep males smell the same. so dont get too into it haha
