in the united states the government and tobacco companies add over 4000 chemicals to the tobacco. over 400 are lethal. i think since there are so many smokers and they sell tobacco fast enough they should remove all the chemicals and just add 1 or 2 preservatives to help keep the fresh on the shelf. in january of 2011 the government added carpet glue to cigs to make them fire safe. all it does is clog your lungs up. me and my wife were thinking about quitting since having so many problems with breathing since they added the glue. fresh tobacco is a lot more healthier for you. just be careful smoking what you grow. there are strains of tobacco that are so strong they will kill you. there are other indian strains that will make you hallucinate and go on a spirit walk and have an epiphany all from tobacco so good luck
