TO SOG OR SCROG

Hey Guys.

I have several grows under my belt now and am just about to do a largish grow (six 1000 watt lights)

Each light will cover a 4x4 F&D table using clay balls as a medium

The 2 strains I am running are serious ak47 and mr nice guy critical mass.

I have grown up a packet of each regular seeds and chosen out my favorite phenos as well as worked out sex, I now how mothers from cuttings ready to go.

The only decision I am stuck on is trying to decide if I would be better off running a scrog or sog (yield, work load, ease of plants is important)

If I sog I plan on no veg and running 36 plants in each table using 200mm square pots

If I scrog I will run 9 plants on each table using 300mm pots and veg until about 70 percent of net is covered.

The way I see it is sog will be quicker with no veg but will require a but load more plants

Thought I should add I have done both these types of grows before but with bag seed strains, this is my first time running good quality strains.

Any thoughts and comments are appreciated thanks in advanced

a scrog will more than likely yield more. it's really not that much work, even with that many lights. so you spend 5-10 minutes at each screen every couple days pulling the tops down under the screen, it's not much work. a good sog yields an ounce per plant. scrogs pretty much rule in the yield dept. (imo)

Hey Silky,

How long do you believe the plants would need to be vegged?\
