To flush or not to flush(in a dialed in guarded) and why

I’m wondering if you guys prefer to flush or not and why? I’ll start it out @ one point my thinking was I must flush the plants til leaves turn yellow for best taste and potency until i Started working for a state licensed facility.
Test results have proven over and over again that the heavy metal content does not change from freshly cut flowers getting end of run strength(1200ppmish for us) and flowers that where flushed until yellow, not much difference in terps either(non flushed has slightly higher term profile).
Not to mention same strain flushed and not flushed tastes better and produces just as light of ash as flushed.
It’s all in the dry and cure.
Drying on the vine wins every time hands down on potency, terp and most importantly taste.

I think you misunderstand what a flush is. No one is trying to flush nutrients, or "heavy metal content" as you described it, out of the flowers. The flowers are going to have nutrients at the end regardless of whether you flushed. Can we agree on that and set that argument aside? We both win.

A flush is washing salt build up in the media (soil, coco, dirt, water, etc.) out of the media.

Many people avoid that build up by allowing run off to drain out of their medium throughout the grow. In this instance you would not need a flush! You win buddy! Hooray!

If you let that salt build up by not allowing for runoff you could possibly harvest with an excess of nutrients. Harvest with a severe nitrogen toxicity and tell me that the smoke doesn't taste like grass even after drying and curing so I can prove to the world that you are lying.

The idea behind flushing and then proceeding not to feed for two weeks (Notice that I didn't say two week flush) is to make the buds eat the nutrients stored in the leaves to reduce the chlorophyll in a whole plant dry with a dry trim.

If you're wet trimming guess what bud? You win again! No need to flush and proceed to starve your plants.

Why do you say I’m a liar and I don’t understand what a flush is?

2 cause it’s a waiste if time according to over 3 years of reasurch and developement tests and this last year of compliant testing.
I actually get a higher yield when I push til the end

Question 2. That sentence is preceded with a hypothetical. That means it's not actually directed at you but could be anybody.

Maybe if you dump a bunch of nutrients and don’t have a clue. If it’s all dialed in and you flush it for extended periods you compromisethe yield, potency and Terp profile.

No, because I'm not. You don't understand English or flushing. I explained myself in perfect English. Flushing was never designed to eliminate nutrients from the flower. It was designed to eliminate nutrients from the media.

This means that flushing is removing the nutrients from the soil. In response the plant is eating the nutrients stored in the leaves.

Your saying flushing makes the flowers eat the nutrient from the leaves and your saying flushing does not give extra nutes to the flowers.
