I couldn't seem to find any larvae or insects. On one of my other plants (That also shows symptoms) I found 2 egg sacs, you know like a spider egg sac. I have no idea if that's related or not to the issues.
Which particular sticky strip should I go for? I know there are different variants and I thought they were mostly focused on thrips and other flying buggers.
I've sprayed the whole thing with pyrethrum (Natural insecticide) and added Diamataceous earth powder to the top of the soil as a barrier. But I'm open to more options to get to the bottom of this
Edit: I found some sticky tape, that you'd wrap around your pots, to catch all creepy crawlies, is that the kind you mean?
Maybe. I just had thrips last year and they didn't really make holes in the leaves like that, they more seemed to make marks on the leaves.
Like this:
But I'm buying traps that will also catch thrips and a few other sprays etc that also work on thrips, so I hope I can get rid of any and all pests... Knock on wood
Edit: You're right the first picture does look like thrips. I was too focused on the holes in the leaves. It might be a wombo combo of thrips and some caterpillar or perhaps thrips do make holes in leaves?
